Filmmaker-actor Ramesh Aravind had been busy with his debut Kollywood directorial Uttama Villain for the past two years. The actor is now back in front of the camera and has quietly finished work on an as-yet-untitled film, which is being directed by Sunil Kumar Desai. Incidentally, this film brings Ramesh and Sunil back together after nearly two decades.
The two are best remembered for their collaboration in the film Nammoora Mandara Hoove. "It's been two years since I faced the camera and it was exciting to do it again. This was an offer that I couldn't have let pass," says Ramesh.
About working with Sunil, he says, "He's a fantastic technician. It is a pleasure to work with a director who knows his job. This is an interesting tale, which has the usual share of fun and laughter. But what makes it special is that there is a lovely layer of depth to the character. These are the kind of roles that attract me.
